The second self portrait in this series (see No. 1). The first photo is my reflection in an overhead door located on Broadway Pier. I was holding my shirt closed to avoid displaying the corporate logo on my t-shirt. The overlaying photo is an orange and red railcar that was parked alongside the Santa Fe Depot. Ironically, when composing the image I realized that the railcar image included logos (Milwaukee and Montana). Just a moment earlier, I was trying not to associate myself with a corporate brand, to then turn around and use logo typography for design aesthetic. Every effort will me made, moving forward, to exclude corporate symbolism in my work. February 16, 2016.
