This was my first time painting Sunset Cliffs in Point Loma. From this viewpoint, the cliffs are very dramatic and protrude defiantly from the sea. The painting was completed using a limited palette of permanent blue, alizarin crimson, cadmium yellow, burnt sienna and titanium white. It was displayed as part of the Point Loma Plein Air Painting art exhibit at Hervey Library in San Diego, CA (along with Bessemer Path). The exhibit ran from Nov. 1 through Dec 31st, 2015 and featured some great local San Diego painters. Saturday, September 30th, 2015.
